Sergio is a medical oncologist with over 20 years in oncology clinical development. He helps sponsors making the critical right clinical decisions — dose, population, endpoints, go/no-go — data-driven in its full mechanistic, pharmacological, biological and clinical context. From first-in-human to pivotal Phase III, the focus is on turning clinical science into data-driven decisions that resonates with regulators, investors and, above all, with patients.
He began his career caring for cancer patients in Buenos Aires and trained further in Paris, in public and private hospitals whereas post-graduate studies in clinical pharmacology, oncology and immuno-oncology, brought him overseas with research periods in Japan and Germany. He moved early into clinical development at a European oncology CRO, mentored by Prof. Esteban Cvitkovic, and learned to flag early data inconsistencies critically so to anticipate the questions a sponsor sometimes overlooks. Over the following two decades he held senior headquarters-level medical and clinical development leadership roles at European pharma and biotech companies, across solid tumours and haematological malignancies and modalities from immunotherapy and targeted therapy to radioligands, nanoparticles and cell therapy — shaping regulatory strategy with FDA and EMA that effectively supported assets moving from First-in-Human to PoC and into accelerated approval or out-licensing deals and co-development.
Sergio founded DLPHI Oncology Global Consultants SARL in 2025 to support early-stage biotechs with genuinely interesting science and expertise, but lacking partially the clinical development experience to identify roadblocks early and build a credible medical strategy, one that translates into an executable plan with regulatory milestones and secures the funding needed to deliver.
DLPHI exists to close this gap — pragmatically, without unnecessary complexity, and always with the patient at the centre.

"To get the right answers, we need first to ask the right questions."
DLPHI works with a select group of senior experts who share the same commitment to rigour, candour, and patient-centred development.
Professor Bousquet is a senior medical oncologist and clinical researcher based in Paris, with expertise spanning solid tumours, translational oncology and early-phase clinical development. His academic and clinical dual role brings a grounded, evidence-based perspective to DLPHI's advisory work.
Maria is an experienced regulatory affairs professional with hands-on expertise in oncology submissions and agency interactions across EMA, FDA and international markets. Her practical knowledge of the regulatory landscape is a key asset in helping DLPHI clients navigate approval pathways efficiently and with confidence.
Dr. Galmarini is a physician-scientist and entrepreneur at the intersection of oncology and artificial intelligence. As CEO and Founder of Topazium AI, he brings deep expertise in translational medicine and a forward-looking perspective on how AI-driven approaches can accelerate drug development and clinical decision-making in oncology.
Dr. Chanquia brings broad oncology expertise and a particularly strong experience in RLT to DLPHI's collaborative network. His clinical and scientific perspective enriches the multidisciplinary approach that underpins our advisory work across early and late development programs through to marketing authorisation.
Dr. Scher is Steere Abramson Professor at NYU, a rheumatologist and physician-scientist at NYU Hospital, where he directs the Colton Center for Autoimmunity. His research on the microbiome and host immunity in immune-mediated inflammatory diseases brings a cross-disciplinary lens to immuno-oncology and the management of immune-related toxicities.
Dra. Ventrice is a specialist in intensive care and emergency medicine, bringing a critical care perspective that is increasingly relevant in oncology — from managing treatment-related toxicities to supporting complex patients in early-phase trials. Her clinical insight strengthens DLPHI's safety monitoring and patient management approach.
Dr. Sinjovich brings specialist geriatric expertise to DLPHI's network, an increasingly important perspective as oncology trials expand to include older and more vulnerable patient populations. Her input informs trial eligibility design, frailty assessments, and safety considerations in elderly patients undergoing cancer treatment.
ClinOp Solutions provides specialist clinical operations support across study set-up, site management, monitoring and trial execution. Their operational expertise complements DLPHI's strategic and medical input, ensuring that development plans translate into well-run, on-time studies.
A dedicated network of experienced medical writers supporting DLPHI clients with regulatory submissions, clinical study reports, scientific manuscripts and congress materials — ensuring that data is communicated clearly, accurately and to the highest standards.
Access to a curated network of pre-clinical research partners covering pharmacology, toxicology, PK/PD modelling and CMC support. DLPHI coordinates pre-clinical package design to ensure a solid scientific foundation ahead of IND/IMPD submissions and first-in-human entry.
A dedicated capability bridging medical affairs and business development — from KOL mapping and scientific engagement to in/out-licensing due diligence and partnership structuring. DLPHI integrates these functions to ensure that clinical strategy and commercial opportunity are always developed in alignment.
